This project is a brand new take of redesigning of Sonic 3! This project consists of a 3-in-1 package made by Jdpense, that has new routes and scripted events for each of the players in the game! In addition an overhaul of changes to the levels there are also changes to Special Stage with an overhaul of layout changes along with newer spheres from the last build added for an extra challenge. Although, this build is different from last year's, since it's switched over to Sonic 3 Alone as the base game instead of Sonic 3 and Knuckles due to it being more simple to use. Along with that, Sonic and Tails are the only playable characters in this build as there wasn't enough time to flesh out the other characters. Main Changes and Features: New power ups and abilities: Wall Jump (for Sonic) Golden Shield (gives Sonic the ability to homing attack with a jump dash) An overhaul of layout changes to the following zones: Angel Island Marble Garden Carnival Night Ice Cap Customized bosses for the following levels: Angel Island Act 2 Marble Garden Act 2* Carnival Night Act 2 Ice Cap Act 2 New scripted events added for each of the routes in the levels! New redesign for all seven of the main Special Stages! The same spheres added to the Special Stages (from last bulid): Green Spheres - act as an extra 2-hit sphere, turns into blue spheres when touched. Pink Spheres - transports the player to another random pink sphere on the map. New Sega CD Mode 1 feature that utilizies the Sega CD hardware! At the moment, it only uses the feature of the PCM chip with new high quality sound effects, but more is planned later on, like the graphics chip and CDDA. To know if Sega CD Mode 1 is activated, you should hear a Chao cheer sound effect upon booting up the game. Along with this, there is a .cue included, which isn't really needed to activate CD Mode 1, but it's added in case some emulators might need it. The boss(es) in asetricks were the mostly the same bosses from last build, but have tweaks and improvements (i.e. - hitboxes and controls) to improve the exprience. Sonic 2 Restoration Ultimate - by - Bedcubistic is a Sonic rom hack that aims to restore some things from the betas, concepts and other things that are not present in the final version of Sonic 2. It has 5 stages from the beta and another 4 stages from the final game modified, it has beta music and several other things that make the game more similar to the Sonic 2 betas. Some sprites from the beta are present in this hack, like Sonic and Buzzer (flying bee badnik in Emerald Hill). The spin dash cannot be charged, it is instantaneous, that is, Sonic/Tails will always roll as soon as the spindash is activated, you can use the button combinations: Up+A and Up+B. If you press only C, Sonic/Tails will release a spindash without needing to crouch. It also changes the special stages, making them much easier. The "Snare" instrument from the rom hack is modified, making it sound a little more like a palm, making the songs more different from the originals, as if it were a "remix". By KVW7GM is a Sonic 1 ROM Hack that got got inspiration from an SM64 Rom hack named "Super Mario 64: The Green Stars" this rom hack tries its best to replicate some levels found in Green Stars, aside from the Hub world, the game uses S2-esque sprites made by myself, this is right now a second demo of the game Levels Time Plains Zone Calignous Maze Zone Fiery Ruins Act 1 Fearful Base Act 1 Special Stage 1 Moves Spindash Peelout Story After events of Sonic CD and Sonic 2, Sonic was heading back home, when back in Angel Island, eggman was already in the island, and he blew up the master emerald, before sonic knew about it. causing the shards of the emeralds being scattered in big rings, of the South island, Once sonic noticed it, Eggman fleed Angel Island to stop Sonic from obtaining them, making Sonic go through another adventure on the South Island.

Sonic 1 on Bird Hill Island Demo By Blue Gamer Hello everyone and welcome to the newest demo of Sonic 1 on Bird Hill Island! Before we start with the changes compared to the last demo, most people haven't played this hack before so these are the changes from Base Sonic 1: new level design new color palettes for EACH ACT new characters 1 new zone new features like the spindash and super-peelout new remixed/demixed music new special stages new You might be wondering, "Why did you wait so long to release a new demo?" Well, it's because I wanted to improve this as much as I can and to maybe make this more popular among the Sonic community (credit to RHS for inspiring me to do this) I think it's right to start out with the new levels, this demo adds: Bird Maze Zone Bird Bridge Zone Bird Forest Zone act 1 Bird Ruins Zone Secondly, I think it's time to highlight the character that got the most changes, Tails! While Sonic got the super peelout and Knuckles has his jump height more accurate, Tails FINALLY has his Tails and can now fly! Another thing that I have added or changed is the music, I have changed all or most of the music tracks to sound a bit different compared to the original music tracks. Another thing that has been cleaned up is the levels, now some levels have dynamic color palettes for different acts, and also Mysterious Marble Zone has it's grass color changed to Bird Hill Zone for consistency. I have also altered some level layouts to feel a little better than they used to be back in the 3rd demo. There is also 2 new special stages, the 4th one is similar to the first 3, and the 5th one which is more of a platforming challenge and was inspired by Sonic ERaZor. I have also added the options menu so you can more easily choose your character and I also added an option if you want the super transformation to be Super Sonic or Power Sonic. Some menus have been changed, like the "original game by text" now has a better font, and the Blue Gamer Presents Screen and the title screen has got a full graphic overhaul. This demo of Mean Bean Tsuu gives a sneak preview to some of the new character roster with a three-stage demo and features a BRAND NEW randomised opponent system where each playthrough will see you battling your opponents in a different order or even different opponents entirely! With more new board designs, character artwork, and brand new cutscenes, we hope you enjoy what's to come with this Mean Bean hack. Mean Bean Tsuu is a hack which aims to be a sequel to the original game, featuring new mechanics from Puyo Puyo Tsuu, as well as a story more in line with that of Japanese Classic Sonic canon. It still follows Mean Bean's original mechanics, though research is being done to get those Tsuu mechanics in! The new features in this year's demo include: Restored Lesson Mode Stages 5 Stage Boards - 2 returning from last year New Arrangement of the Main Menu music by Aburtos 8 New Characters (including a returning Coconuts) Random Opponent System for Scenario Mode (2 stages featuring more friendly characters, and a final stage against one of Robotnik's goons) New backdrop for cutscenes New Title Screen and Game Over Screen

What is Sonic at its core? A game about jumping and running. So why not create a Sonic hack where you do nothing but jumping and running... for 8 hours straight? The concept and inspiration were obviously taken from the infamous Desert Bus minigame from Penn & Teller's Smoke and Mirrors. Also, a special shout-out to the annual charity event Desert Bus For Hope, which gave me the motivation to even create this hack. (There's also a mode that compresses the experience down to 8 minutes. Still ridiculous, but it's a nice meditation exercise.) Debut Sonic in Giovanni's Level Pack 2 is a ROM hack of last year's Giovanni's Level Pack 2. This ROM hack was originally made by MDTravis, to be later picked up and polished by giovanni.gen, original creator of Giovanni's Level Pack 2. In this ROM Hack, you will play as MDTravis' implementation of Sonic, as seen in Sonic Debut, the latest available version of which, at the time of writing, can be found here. The original version of the ROM hack was unveiled during a Sonic Hacking Contest live stream, as a prank directed to giovanni.gen. This release is the polished version of the ROM hack shown during said live stream, featuring many QoL changes to better account for Debut Sonic, such as a proper HP display, and a fully rewritten instruction manual. The catch, however, is that almost no changes have been made to the level design to account for Debut Sonic's altered moveset. Debut Sonic in GLP2 has been playtested, and is 100%able. However, it is not softlock-proof, and some routes from the original game are flat out inaccessible. To beat Debut Sonic in GLP2, you will have to contend with a slightly lowered jump height, lowered just enough to make damage boosting mandatory for basic progression in places. In addition, none of the additional moves from the original ROM hack have made the cut: no Drop Dash, no Super Peel-Out, and, most critically, no Spin Dash. Debut Sonic's moveset includes an Air Roll, which you will need to use, as you will not automatically roll after jumping like Sonic would. In addition, as opposed to losing rings when damaged, you will instead be bound by a HP system. Starting at 5 hit points, losing them all will result in your death, no matter your ring count. This ROM hack is best experienced after having played both the original Giovanni's Level Pack 2, and Sonic Debut, with much focus on the former. Changes from last year: The player controller was completely changed, in terms of graphics and moveset; The shield monitor was fittingly replaced with a HP boost monitor; Certain sound effects originating from Sonic Debut have been added; A HP meter has been added to the HUD; MDTravis' Splash screen has been imported into the hack; A minor, optional change to the level design in Marble Zone was made; The instructions manual was majorly rewritten.

Created in just 12 days for Halloween 2024, this short ROM hack is all about how much of an eerie atmosphere can be achieved in Sonic 1 by removal alone.

Every action carries an immediate, permanent consequence. Collecting a ring, defeating an enemy, finishing a level—each choice causes something in the game to vanish forever. The more Sonic interacts with his surroundings, the emptier the world becomes, leaving him to wander through a silent, desolate landscape. There are no jumpscares, no hyper-realistic blood, and definitely no Sonic.exe—just a quiet, decaying world. Will you keep moving forward, even as everything around you fades into meaninglessness? Or will you look for an escape?

Sonic the Hedgehog: Isle of Magnetic Artifacts is a sonic hack made By Neo Team Kyukyoku

is a hack which aims to overhaul Sonic 1 using a Japanese-inspired aesthetic. The main feature of this demo is Blossom Gardens Zone, the resting area of the isolated, star-god worshipping Kuratranos tribe. BGZ is a fast-paced experience littered with swift-acting enemies, height-granting gimmicks, driving music, and advanced graphical effects. This new zone can be traversed with three playable characters: Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles "Tails" Prower, and Knuckles the Echidna. Sonic, in particular, features a set of unique sprites, the dropdash ability, and a new companion: Abbey the Flicky. Abbey can pick up nearby rings and circle potential targets for Sonic, including hidden monitors.

Story:

The evil Dr. Robotnik has been meddling with time itself! In order to stop him and prevent a bad future for South Island, Sonic must travel through time and stop the Doctor's evil schemes!

Featuring 9 acts filled with exploration, platforming, and speed, take control of Sonic to put an end to Dr. Robotnik's plot!

This rom hack main focus is to reinvent how sonic .exe is to the public such as adding game play to the game Unlike sonic forces because the original was inspired by sonic forces ? and also adding a bit of story and new character (not playable characters but characters related to story) this demo includes 2 short levels that being Hill act 1 ,Hide and seek

all of the assets in this demo was made from scratch such as coding and sprite work etc besides a few things borrowed from the original game such as title screen and other stuff

Sonic 1 Definitive is a hack named by RadiantNexus Team, which seeks to reimagine Sonic 1 by rearranging levels. remixing music, adding features from future games, and readding scrapped ideas in new and interesting ways.

Major features:

• 3 acts of reimagined level design, including one act that has yet to be fully reimagined in any other hack.
• A miniboss.
• Massive art overhaul all over the place.
• Music made by ProjectFM and MechaKnuckles.
• Menus!
• A custom splash screen.

There's been massive engine overhauls as well, including the Sonic 3 level layout format for massive levels, and the Sonic 3 object manager to go alongside this.

Sonic 1 Flash Flood is a ROM hack of Sonic the Hedghog that features new palette, audio, zone layout and special stage modifications, in addition to new gameplay mechanics. Flood waters rise and recede at random all over the island, significantly changing how the island is navigated. Can you make it through?

Features:

• Level Design - In addition to the rain effect and water palettes, level layouts are tweaked to account for water physics.
  • Marble Zone has altered lava physics, and Acts 2 and 3 have new shortcuts.
  • Being entirely underground, Labyrinth Zone has been affected a bit...differently by the change in weather.

• Goggles Monitors - These take the place of air bubbles, and are thus unlimited. Use as many as you need!

• Badnik Behavior - The rain and flooding is even affecting Eggman's robots and hazards, causing them to malfunction! Some are even enhanced by the chaotic weather. Strangely, most fire-related hazards (such as flamethrowers and fireballs) remain unaffected, defying all logic.

• Special Stages - New special stage gameplay style, with art and music changes. Get Yellow Rings!

• Water Physics - Some general quality of life improvements to the water physics, and bug fixes are included here (with a few exceptions, for gameplay reasons).

• Level Select - Available upon pressing start, no code required. Feel free to check out any zone or special stage at your leisure.

Known Bugs:

• Minor graphical bug in the special stage background, and on the results screen.
• In the Special Stages, blocks at the edge of the screen being loaded in flicker, due to the amount of objects.
• Level art mapping glitches crop up on rare occasion.
• Labyrinth and Scrap Brain's palette cycles are bit buggy at the moment.
• There are a couple of lingering walk-jump bugs here and there
