Last Action Hero is a series of action video games based on the film of the same name. Versions were released for various systems; including the NES, Super NES, Sega Genesis, Game Boy and Sega Game Gear. A Sega Master System version was also developed, but never released. All versions of the game faced an even poorer reception than the film, receiving mostly negative reviews due to its poor graphics, limited set of moves and repetitive gameplay. A separate version was released on the Commodore Amiga and was developed by Psygnosis. Only the MS-DOS version offers cut scenes from the actual motion picture.

Light Crusader is an action RPG developed by Treasure and published by Sega. It is similar in gameplay to Landstalker: The Treasures of King Nole, blending role-playing video game, action-adventure and platform video game elements in much the same way. It featured an art style and presentation that mimicked European RPGs. It marked a major departure for the developer, known for fast paced action games, with colorful anime-inspired visuals. It is, to date, their only RPG, and their only game with a distinctly Western art style.

The Lost Vikings is a side-scrolling puzzle/platform video game series which was developed by Silicon & Synapse (later Blizzard Entertainment). The first game, The Lost Vikings, was released in 1992 by publisher Interplay Entertainment for DOS, Amiga, Sega Mega Drive and SNES among others. The sequel, The Lost Vikings II, was developed by Blizzard and released in 1997 by Interplay for the SNES. A 32-bit enhanced version of The Lost Vikings II was developed for the Sega Saturn, PlayStation and PC, known in the United States as Norse By Norsewest: Return of the Lost Vikings and in Europe as Lost Vikings 2: Norse by Norsewest. It was released by Interplay in 1997, featuring a new super deformed style for the characters (the original version kept the same art style as the first game) as well as voiced dialogue samples. However, Blizzard was not involved in the creation of these 32-bit ports. Instead, they were handled by Beam Software.
