Michael Jackson's Moonwalker is the name of several video games based on the 1988 Michael Jackson film, Moonwalker. U.S. Gold published various games for home computers, released in 1989, whilst Sega developed two similarly themed beat 'em up video games in 1990; one released for arcades and another released for the Sega Genesis and Sega Master System. Each of the games' stories loosely follow the story of the film, in which Michael Jackson must rescue kidnapped children from the evil Mr. Big, and incorporate synthesized versions of the musician's hits, such as Beat It and Smooth Criminal. The games, particularly the Genesis adaptation, have achieved cult status.

Fantasia (ファンタジア ミッキーマウス・マジック?, lit. "Fantasia: Mickey Mouse Magic") is the title of a side-scrolling video game developed by Infogrames and produced by Sega for its own Mega Drive/Genesis system. The game was loosely based on the film of the same name.

Mickey's Ultimate Challenge is a puzzle game for the Super NES, Game Boy, Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis, Sega Master System, and Game Gear. The Master System version, released in 1998[2] was the last game ever released for that console. All other versions were released in 1994. It was rated for all ages, aimed toward younger children, and was designed for only one player. The design is simplistic as Mickey can only perform three things: walking, jumping, and going through doors. There are five major challenges, a segue, and a final challenge. It has met with mixed reviews from gaming magazines.

Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament featured cars that require different handling techniques for each course and also hovercraft and helicopters. There are different playing modes including "head-to-head", in which each player earns points by driving a full screen ahead of the opponent. TV presenter Violet Berlin features as a playable driver. The MS-DOS version featured a track editor. A selling point for the Sega Mega Drive versions was the J-Cart, a cartridge including two control ports, thus eliminating the need for a 4-player adaptor.[8] It also included a 'pad-sharing' feature which allowed 2 players to share a single joypad; thus it enabled 8 players to compete simultaneously, on certain tracks. The 93% review in Mega described the game as "multi-player fun at its best".[9] An updated version of Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournament was only released in Europe for the Sega Mega Drive entitled Micro Machines Turbo Tournament '96, The updated version featured new tracks combined with some updated tracks from Micro Machines 2. It also featured a track construction kit previously included in the MS-DOS version.

Might and Magic III: Isles of Terra is the third game in the role-playing video game series Might and Magic. Released in 1991, it is the predecessor to Might and Magic IV: Clouds of Xeen and the sequel to Might and Magic II: Gates to Another World.

Mighty the Armadillo in Sonic the Hedgehog (aka Mighty in Sonic 1) is a hack of Sonic 1 by E-122-Psi, starring Mighty as the playable character instead of Sonic the Hedgehog. The game is modified to use Mighty's sprites in place of Sonic's, along with several modifications to the player's stats and abilities.
