ToeJam & Earl — Cheat codes

 

Mermaid

After you beat the game and you are on the planet Funkotron, follow the yellow brick road that leads to ToeJam's and Earl's parents' pad. After that, start swimming south. It takes a long time, but you will eventually come to a mermaid on a small island in the water.

All Ship Pieces Except the Last One

Pause the game, then push button combinations in this order:

  1. ⬆️ + Ⓐ + Ⓑ + Ⓒ

  2. ➡️ + Ⓐ

  3. ⬇️ + Ⓑ

  4. ⬅️ + Ⓒ

If you did the code correctly, you should hear a chime. Unpause the game, and you should notice that you have all but one of the ship pieces collected. And no matter where you are, you will find the last piece on the next level.

Secret Level

You start the game on level one, which appears to consist solely of two islands in the water. However, if you jet ski, fly, or ride an inner tube to the lower ⬅️ part of level 1, you will find another island with some presents and a hole in it. Fall ⬇️ the hole to level 0, where you can be healed (in the hot tub) and receive an extra life (by drinking lemonade). When you leave level 0, you will return to the highest level you've visited.

Extra Presents

You can get two or three presents from Santa if you sneak ⬆️ on him while he's rummaging through his bag, and stand still when he looks ⬆️. If you manage to reach Santa he will drop some presents when he leaves.

Secret Island

In addition to the island with the hole described above, there is another island on the upper ➡️ of Level 1 that has many presents on it. Make sure you have a way back; un-fall is best, as you will return to your previous level. There is always an un-fall on this island.

Fixed World Hints

The following information comes direct from SEGA and should help if you get stuck. The number on the ⬅️ is the level number.

 

  1. The elevator is in the upper ➡️ hand side of land.

     

  2. Ship piece is at the bottom ⬅️/middle of the world. The elevator is in the upper ➡️ of the of the land at the end of the road.

     

  3. The elevator is in the middle of a large open field in the ⬅️ side of the world.

     

  4. The elevator is in the bottom ⬅️ of the world next to the lake.

     

  5. Find the road, follow it to the bottom ⬅️ to find to elevator.

     

  6. Ship piece is in the middle/bottom ➡️ of the world. The elevator can be found at the upper ➡️ of the world.

     

  7. The elevator is at the bottom ⬅️ of world, next to the lake.

     

  8. The elevator is at the bottom ➡️ of the world.

     

  9. The elevator is at the bottom middle/⬅️ of the world.

     

  10. Ship piece is at the upper ➡️/middle of the world. The elevator can be found in the middle of a lake on and island.

     

  11. The elevator is at the bottom ➡️ hand corner of the world.

     

  12. Ship piece is located at the bottom middle part of the world. The elevator is at the far upper ➡️ of world.

     

  13. The elevator is found at the upper ➡️ of the world.

     

  14. The elevator is in the middle on an island. There is also a healer/wizard on the same island.

     

  15. Ship piece is at the far upper ⬅️ corner of the world. The elevator is in the bottom ⬅️ of the world.

     

  16. The elevator is at the top middle of world.

     

  17. Ship piece is at the upper ➡️ of world. The elevator is found just to the ➡️ of the center of the world.

     

  18. The elevator is found in the top ⬅️ of the world.

     

  19. The elevator can be found in the lower ➡️ corner of the world.

     

  20. The ship piece is at the bottom ⬅️ of the world. The elevator is found in the far upper ➡️ of the world.

     

  21. The ship piece is at the bottom ➡️ of the world. The elevator is at upper ➡️ of the world.

     

  22. The elevator is at the upper ⬅️ corner of the world.

     

  23. The ship piece is at the upper middle of the world. The elevator is on and island in the middle of the lake.

     

  24. The elevator is in the upper ⬅️ corner of the world.

     

  25. The final ship piece is in the lower ➡️ corner of the world.
