Cheat Menu
At the title screen, hold A+C+Down+Left. Release the buttons after the screen goes black.

Cheat Mode Stage Progression
With the infinite lives code you are able to warp to end of sub-stage exit post by pausing game, press AAAA then unpause (Genesis). However, in some stages the game will softlock. I’ve mapped out which stages will lock and which will not. In this guide, a single I denotes a sub-stage that can be cleared with this code, while an X is a sub-stage that will softlock and must be cleared as normal. Some instances the code will take you to an exit post that’s not activated, just use the code again to activate post. Two cases are noted where there are traps to overcome after using code.

To access this cheat mode, at the beginning of game get objects on the roof in this order: cupcake, hammer, Earth, apple, tap. To unlock all stages enter the first world and exit.

Invincibility
At the hub level (the building), run right and stretch up onto a roof. There are five objects a hammer, an apple, earth (a globe), a cake and a tap. Collect them in the following order.

Cake, Hammer, Earth, Apple, Tap.

That spells C.H.E.A.T and James will become invincible for ten minutes. YOu can do this everytime you return to the hub level.

Level skip code
Enable the Invincibility code first. Then pause game play and press A button 4 times. The game will resume at the exit. Note: Enabling this code may result in an impossible situation that may require a reset.

Power-Up code
To refill your power meter, spell out the word ''power'' by picking up these items in the following order: penguin, oil can, wine glass, Earth and racket.

Secret Level
Go to the far right end of level One, climb the tower on the roof, and walk to the left through the wall.

Unlimited Lives
At the sports level, spell out the word ''lives'' by picking up these items in this order: lips, ice cream, violin, Earth, snowman.

Limited Invincibility
At the beginning of the game, just past the first castle tower will be a roof top with five items.

If you stretch James Pond out and collect the items in a certain order, you will gain limited invincibility.

The order you need to collect them in: Cake, Hammer, Earth, Apple, Tap

Notice the first letters of each item spell out 'cheat.'
