Cheat Code - Get All Guns (Japanese Version)

Pause the game while playing, and on Controller 1, press ⬆️, ⬆️, ⬇️, ⬇️, Ⓐ, ⬆️, ⬆️, ⬇️, ⬇️, Ⓑ, ⬆️, ⬆️, ⬇️, ⬇️, Ⓒ. If this is done correctly, both players' characters will get weapons Ⓐ through ⬇️. (This cheat code works only for the Japanese version of Contra: The Hard Corps.)

Secret Ending

At the third stage (junkyard zone), instead of taking the doorway that goes to the main boss, climb ⬆️ the vertical wall to the top of the screen. Agree to the person's offer, and defeat the special bosses to get the secret joke ending.
