Altered Beast — Cheat codes

Monster Select

Right when you turn on the system hold down these buttons- ⬇️-⬅️,Ⓐ,Ⓑ,Ⓒ. When the title screen comes up press start. You then will have a menu where you can select the beast you want for each level.

Jump Higher

To jump higher, press and hold the ⬆️ direction on the D-PAD as you jump.

Continue

When you die, hold Ⓐ and press Start repeatedly until you appear on the screen where you died.

Sound Test

At the title screen, press and hold Ⓐ + Ⓒ + ⬆️- ➡️ + Start.

Options / Level Select

At the title screen, hold Ⓑ and press Start. To select a level, choose a round on the Options screen, then hold Ⓐ + Start at the title screen.

Attack the Credits

When you rescue Athene and the credits appear, kick or punch to scroll them downwards.

Two-Player Mode

For two-player action, press Start on Controller Two to begin your game.
