Valis (ヴァリス Varisu?) is a Japanese platform game series developed by Telenet Japan. The original game was developed in 1986 for the MSX, and its popularity has spanned four sequels, a spin-off, and remakes across several platforms, notably the TurboGrafx-16 and Sega Mega Drive until the early 1990s, when it was quietly retired. The Mega Drive/Genesis entries were all published in North America by Renovation Products. Later, Telenet sold the series' rights to a company known as Eants, which re-tooled the series as hentai games[1] after Telenet shut down in 2007. The series has formed two Mobile Phone games released by Bandai Namco Games in Japan and a manga by Kill Time Communications. The Valis games (as they were known in America) tell the story of Yūko Asō (麻生 優子 Asō Yūko?), a schoolgirl in late 1980s Japan who is fated to protect three different realms – our own Earth, the land of spirits, and Vecanti (ヴェカンティ Vekanti?), the Dream World – by wielding a mystical sword known as Valis.

Valis III (ヴァリスⅢ, Varisu Surī?) is an action-platformer video game developed by Telenet Japan and originally released for the PC Engine Super CD-ROM² on September 7, 1990 in Japan. Vapor Trail: Hyper Offense Formation, known in Japan as Kuhga – Operation Code Vapor Trail (空牙 – Operation Code Vapor Trail?) and usually simply referred to as Vapor Trail, is a 1989 shoot 'em up arcade game developed and published by Data East. Vapor Trail was followed by Wolf Fang and Skull Fang Kuhga Gaiden.

Vector the Crocodile in Sonic the Hedgehog (aka Vector in Sonic 1) is a hack of Sonic 1 by E-122-Psi, starring Vector the Crocodile as the playable character instead of the blue hedgehog. The game is modified to use Vector's sprites (edited from Knuckles Chaotix) in place of Sonic's, along with several modifications to the player's stats and abilities.The game was modified by Sonic Retro member E-122-Psi, with additional programming and coding by other members including MarkeyJester and flamewing.

The gameplay is similar to the previous game. Vectorman has a different set of weapons, including a pulse beam, energy shot, and supershot guns. Vectorman can also now transform into insect forms such as a fire ant, a rhino, and "shield bug" that repels attacks. Unlike the original Vectorman, the full-level transformations featured in this game are not used to combat bosses as that is left to the human-form Vectorman. There are 22 levels divided into seven parts in all. Before Vectorman 2 was released, Sega Channel held a contest that allowed artists to draw a morph Vectorman. Judges then chose the best one to be transformed in Genesis art, as well as being put on the Sega Channel. Ten runner-up submitters won a copy of Vectorman 2.

Verytex (ヴェリテックス) is a vertical scrolling shooting game for Sega's Mega Drive console. Players controlled the Verytex, a futuristic spaceship, on its journey to protect mankind from waves of enemies in six different levels.
