Shadow Blasters (四天明王 Shiten Myouou or Shiten-Myooh) is a platform game developed by Sigma Enterprises for the Sega Genesis video game console in 1990. It was released in Japan and in North America in a localized form.

Shadow Dancer (シャドー・ダンサー?) is a side-scrolling action game produced by Sega originally released as an arcade game in 1989. It is the second arcade game in the Shinobi series, following the original Shinobi itself. The game was developed on the Sega System 18 motherboard hardware. Home versions were released for the Master System and various home computers. A remake was also developed for the Mega Drive/Genesis titled Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi.

Shadow of the Beast is a side-scrolling platform computer game produced by Reflections (Later known as Reflections Interactive) and published by Psygnosis in 1989. The original version was released for the Commodore Amiga but the game has been ported to many other systems. The original Amiga release cost £35, an unheard of price for a video game in that era, but it did include a T-shirt in the box bearing a print of the box's artwork. Psygnosis had published numerous side scrollers with high quality graphics prior to the release of Shadow of the Beast (most notably Obliterator). Shadow of the Beast, however, was considered revolutionary because its graphics, with many more colours on screen and up to twelve levels of parallax scrolling backdrops, were of a level rarely if ever seen before in action games. It was also notable for its atmospheric score composed by David Whittaker that used high-quality instrument samples. Shadow of the Beast will be remade on the PlayStation 4.

Shadowrun is an action role-playing game for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, adapted from the cyberpunk role-playing game Shadowrun by FASA, developed by BlueSky Software and released in 1994. The game is the second in a Shadowrun series of video game adaptations and has a more open ended style of gameplay than its 1993 precursor, Shadowrun by Beam Software.

Shining Force: The Legacy of Great Intention (シャイニング・フォース 神々の遺産, Shainingu Fōsu: Kamigami no Isan?, lit. "Shining Force: The Legacy of the Gods"), is a 1992 fantasy turn-based tactics role-playing video game for the Mega Drive/Genesis console. While primarily a traditional fantasy-themed game, it contains some steampunk elements. The game has been repeatedly re-released: in Sega Smash Pack 2 for the Dreamcast and Microsoft Windows, in Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and as a standalone game for the Wii Virtual Console and Microsoft Windows via Steam. Additionally, in 2004 a remake was released for the Game Boy Advance under the title Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon and in 2010 the game was released for iOS.

Shining Force II (シャイニング・フォースII 古えの封印, Shainingu Fōsu Tsū: Inishie no Fūin?, lit. "Shining Force II: The Ancient Seal"), is a tactical role-playing game for the Mega Drive/Genesis console developed by Sonic! Software Planning in 1993. The storyline is not directly connected to the original Shining Force, although a Game Gear title Shining Force Gaiden: Final Conflict links the two games' plots. The game is much longer than the first, and more free-roaming. There is no chapter system, so the player can return to previously visited parts of the world. There are also two different ways of promoting many characters. This game was released on the Wii Virtual Console in Europe on October 3, 2008 and in North America on October 6, 2008. The game also appears in Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and as a standalone game on Steam.

Known as The Super Shinobi II in Japan, Shinobi III is regarded by many as the high point of the series. It introduced a much smoother, faster style of gameplay while keeping the series' familiar trademarks firmly intact. The game marked Musashi's last appearance in a Shinobi game until Shinobi was released in 2002 for the PlayStation 2. At least two known beta versions of Shinobi III are currently in circulation, featuring almost completely different levels from the final game.

Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master, released in Japan as The Super Shinobi II (ザ・スーパー忍II?), is an action game developed and published by Sega for theMega Drive/Genesis console that was released in 1993. It is the direct sequel to the previous The Revenge of Shinobi. The game was originally intended to be released in 1992, and to be very different from the final version of the game in terms of levels and storyline.This hack is for beginners, It gives the player 99 lives to be able to finish the game.
